The Haven
A very grand Victorian House built in 1885 for the retired Archdeacon
of Cornwall, du Boulay,
standing in a commanding position with magnificent sea views
towards the Lizard. Accommodation is as a whole house for up to
sixteen people or two flats as follows:
LOWER HAVEN has three bedrooms comprising a double; a twin approached by its own staircase and a small twin with bunk beds; large sitting-room with open fire and upright piano; slate-floored kitchen; bathroom; shower room. Parking for two-three cars. (Equipped for six people)
UPPER HAVEN has four bedrooms including a double and three attic twins; sitting room with open fire; large kitchen/diner; bathroom; shower room. Parking for two-three cars. (Equipped for eight people)
There is a garden bothy on the hill behind the house containing two additional beds which can be booked by either flat on a first come first served basis. The flats share the large lawns and a washing machine in the outside store. Grazing fields surround the house, which is about a three minutes walk from the sea.
